Vikki and Chris are childhood sweethearts. They decided to marry in Brixton near Plymouth, in the local church where Vikki’s family attend. While Adj was at the pub with the lads I headed over and spent some time with Vikki and the girls at her mum’s house while they got themselves ready for the big wedding.
It was the vicar’s last ever service before his retirement. He was very jovial and even led the congregation through a sing-a-long at the end of the ceremony. Turns out he’s quite handy with the guitar!
After the church service it was a scenic drive to Dartington Hallnear Totnes for the reception.
When we arrived ice-cream was on hand courtesy of the Icicle Tricycle and a dapper gentleman in a striped blazer.
Just look at this hall – its so grand I love it! What a venue for a wedding banquet!
