Alex and Jeff’s Polhawn Fort Wedding
We regularly photograph at Polhawn Fort. This time it was a short but sweet photo shoot for Alex and Jeff’s wedding. They got lucky with a sunny September day and had the pleasure of getting married outdoors, next to the sea. This is a truly breathtaking venue for a civil ceremony. I love the walk up the “aisle” with the ocean behind. After a few drinks and some family photos we headed off to Rame Head for a photo shoot. This is a perfect time for the bride and groom to spend some time with each other on their wedding day and also to obtain some more peaceful photographs of the couple together.

Thanks for looking, Sarah from Green Photographic.

A Wedding Photographer in London
Natalia and Patrick’s wedding was so relaxed – just like them! The bridal preparations took place in their flat. There’s something so unique about preparations in the home – it means that the personality of the couple comes through in the photographs. I’m a particular fan of their vintage Liberty’s curtain fabric and the homemade quilt. The apparently accidental colour combination of Natalia’s dress and the green walls is perfect!
The ceremony was at Merton Register Office, situated in the grounds of Mordon Park House.
As we arrived at the ceremony room, Partick was waiting to walk with Natalia down the aisle.
Due to the extreme height difference between Natalia and Patrick, they had arranged as a bit if fun to have a stool in place for their first marital kiss. Such a cute thing to do!
Their confetti was laced with a large amount of dried lavender, it smelt amazing as it was flying through the air over my head and straight at them but I think it stung a bit!
We then made our way onto the lawn and braved the strong winds to have a quick drink before heading off to the reception. The rain was kind and waited until we had finished our drinks and had a few photos.
The reception was held at The Wharf Restaurant in Teddington. Its a very beautiful venue and Natalia had put all her creative touches into the choices for the table decorations.
After dinner I set up the vintage photo booth – always a hit for the evening do! The photo booth gives the guests a chance to play around in front of the camera without us having to intrude on their space. They can come to us whenever they please and have a go with the props and it seems that as the evening goes on everyone gets more enthusiastic – perhaps it has something to do with the wine?
